I tried her out because she was new and the daily quests keep asking me to queue for all roles which, as we know, really means support. She can shred through squishy DPS characters and heals plenty, at least enough to scratch my Mercy itch. Being able to reach upward of 9,000 healing in quick play while getting eliminations is like playing DPS with a bit more utility, and that’s what makes Kiriko so refresh

Luckily, however, it seems that fans will be getting their wish soon. The next big update is coming November 15, and will nerf Zarya in several different ways. For starters, the Barrier's duration is going back down to two seconds, as it was in the first Overwatch. On top of that, it will now have an eleven-second cooldown, stopping you from spamming it so much in bat

As a result, players are switching off voice and text chat en masse and encouraging others to do the same. In social media posts, [https://Overwatch2Tactics.com/ overwatch 2 guide|Https://overwatch2tactics.com/] fans say that not disabling chat can damage your mental health, as toxic players have been spotted getting around Blizzard's chat filters to use slurs and make threats against oth

My old mains just aren’t fun anymore. Playing Mercy with well over 15,000 healing in lower ranks, keeping the team alive, resurrecting vital players, and helping push the payload, all while avoiding the focus of the entire enemy team, only to get a Cassidy spamming "I need healing" halfway across the map, is annoying ; __ Lucio is fun but doesn’t always work on defence maps, and Bridgette depends on the synergy with the rest of your squad. Kiriko, however, lets me stand on my own two legs in fights, easily jump to my allies with her teleport ability so I can catch Cassidy being a prick and save him, and heal as standard. The versatility is unlike any other hea

So, it seems Blizzard has sent out a survey to a few players to ask them what they think of the microtransactions , and why they haven't spent any money yet. They're mostly multiple choice questions asking players why they primarily bought the Premium Battle Pass, and to elaborate on the reasoning if they've not bought anything at

Others in the replies agree, and feel that switching off chat doesn't even put players at a disadvantage. "In my experience, only about 10% of comms in Gold and below are productive callouts," says TallAfternoon2. This means there's only one Tank per team, making their choice even more essential. So if there's a clear winner in the category, there isn't much room for experimentat

It comes with its own risks though. If you’ve played Overwatch 2 at all, you know Moira is constantly played as a DPS . They shred through enemies, rush off to get kills, and rarely come back to help the team, leaving the job to rest on one support’s shoulders. I’m busy scrambling to hit the mute button while I keep a charging Reinhardt alive as he plummets into the entire enemy team, so my shoulders are more than strained. But Kiriko hasn’t ended up like Moira - at least, not yet. The ease of being able to jump between damage and healing is similar there, but the DPS doesn’t outclass the healing to such an extent that it’s worth dropping altogether. The two are well-balanced, meaning you can easily flit between keeping D.Va alive and taking out a cheeky Widowmaker perched in the dista

However, some fear that the issue of toxicity won't die down after the launch hype has ended. With Overwatch 2 being free-to-play, there will very likely be an increased playerbase from the original game, so more potential abusers. Furthermore, some feel that the free-to-play economy of Overwatch 2, in which players can only unlock currency by completing daily and weekly challenges, encourages this toxicity . This is because players are more likely to be concerned with winning or completing certain objects, as opposed to just having

I have never played Overwatch . I gave Paladins a good go and almost platinumed it - the kids still care about trophies, right? - but when Overwatch took over in popularity and all my friends jumped ship to play it I just never followed. What followed was six years of my best friends complaining about how shit and toxic the game they poured thousands of hours into was . Not the best advertisement. But, everyone at TheGamer is having a blast on Overwatch 2 and I’m sick of being left out, so I got the gang together and hopped in for the first time. All I have to say is: why did no one tell me how buckwild and fun Junkrat

Overwatch 2 is out now on all platforms, and this time, it is available for free to download and play.
