There's said to be a significant amount of work going into the technical side of the game. The rumor doesn't make clear whether the technical upgrades came prior to Ghost of Tsushima being made into a PS5 title or as a result of being shifted to be a PS5 title. Much like Starfield, nothing has been shown about Elder Scrolls VI since its reveal and Howard also stated during the aforementioned panel that it would not have a presence at E3 this year, since the title is likely due after the release of Starfield.

Fox also mentioned in a follow-up group Q&A that they have spent a lot of time attempting to find a way to do justice to the samurai and people who suffered during the real-life Mongol invasions of Japan in the late 13th century.
