Windows Central's own Jez Corden made note of Microsoft's refusal to comment on the potential deals that Game Science might have made with other companies. The reputable insider took this as a sign that the Xbox manufacturer could be insinuating that there's some sort of third-party exclusivity deal in place for Black Myth: Wukong . Corden elaborated on this suggestion of his, stating that he became aware "of whispers and rumors while out in LA" to attend the FanFest event for 2024's well-received Xbox Games Showcase that "Game Science had actually taken some form of exclusivity deal with PlayStation for Black Myth: Wukon

Again, I don’t go here, but I kinda thought the difficulty was the whole point. You’re supposed to struggle, fail, die, suffer, then push yourself to get back up and try again. When you finally succeed you’re meant to think about all the times you could have given up but didn’t, making the success that much sweeter. This is basic Souls psychology that Elden Ring players, who I assume must be approaching this DLC after having beaten the game, surely understand. So what’s the dilemma here? Is it really too hard to be

As to be expected from a game in the Souls tradition, the difficulty wasn't for everybody, and after two hours of queuing, one member of the public told me that while they could appreciate what the game was trying to do, they weren't a fan of the difficulty. One such game is Black Myth Wukong , which releases in August. Featuring Soulslike mechanics, similarly fantastical boss fights, and steeped in Ancient Chinese history, Wukong will likely be compared to Wuchang , even though the art styles are quite different. Indeed, Wuchang 's tone and aesthetic seem more similar to the likes of Team Ninja's critically acclaimed Nioh ser

With so many of its direct competitors releasing over the next four months or so, having a release window of 2025 will likely work in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers ' favor. This will give the title room to breathe and should allow the dust to settle on all of its rivals before it unleashes itself. Being available on PS5, PC, and also as a day-one Xbox Game Pass title will give it a great chance for success, so if Leenzee can stick the landing with the game's mechanics and settings, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers could be one of 2025's sleeper h

Wukong also doesn’t have a parry, so dodging is your only means of avoiding damage. There are different kinds of dodges, though. One of the stances allows you to climb on top of your staff and sit there out of range while the boss leaps around, then leap off the staff and come down on the fiend's head with one big strike. That will work against some bosses, but more commonly you’re just expected to dodge, dodge, and dodge ag

I, frankly, couldn't handle the wait, nor did my scummy press pass count for much for this particular game, so I figured I'd do the next best thing and get impressions of those who had actually managed to play it at Gamescom. Public queues regularly exceeded a four-hour wait, when they weren't closed due to reaching capacity, and there was a considerable buzz on the show floor. Stating that the company is "excited for the launch" of the upcoming Xbox game , the spokesperson said that the console manufacturer is "working with Game Science to bring the game" to Xbox platforms. Sekiro 's protagonist, Wolf , is also prone to contracting an illness known as Dragonrot. However, while Ornithropy is slowly morphing Wuchang into a monster, on the flip side, it is also granting her access to immense power. The game is described as non-linear but stops short of calling itself an open-world game, so it's likely it will adopt a similar semi-open-world structure that is used in both Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice , and the upcoming Black Myth: Wuko
